Hey!
Welcome to Tomexplace!
My name is Toms and in this post, I will writte a littlebit about my self, so you can understand whats really happening here.
I am 22 years old dude from Latvia.
I've been around computers since my childhood, when I got my first one.
It was, an amazing time for me! I used to sit infront of the computer for hours, playing games, watching movies, and doing lots of fun stuff.
But, when I became older, I became more interested into computers and I wanted to understand how they work.
I wanted to understand how they work!
I wanted to know, how each part works, how all the parts work together and so on.
It was just my thing,
the thing, that I really wanted to understand.
So, I started to investigate everything starting from A until Z lol.
I was starting to study about each computer component separatley, how they look, how they work, how they work together, why are they needed. I was watching Youtube videos, reading blogs, wiki, et cetera...
I was studying alot! Somethimes even more than 12 hours per day!
CRAZY! isn't it?
Well, maybe I was a littlebit crazy about this, but I didn't care, I knew what I wanted to do, so I did.
I was searching for everything that I didn't understood. When my PC broke, I always wanted to fix it by myself. In most cases I succeed, when I didnt knew how to fix the problem, I was searching on the web, how to fix it. However, I always fixed the problem.
I studyed alot, I literally busted my ass off, it was serious for me, but the results came because of the hard work I was puting in. I quickly understood everything I was looking for.
I am coming from a small town in Latvia. It's a really small town, so there ain't really much computer guys around.
It was good for me because, I was the guy who knew how to fix the problem, and when my buddys had problems with their computers, or they were seeking for an advice, I was they guy who they called at the first place.
It was all good for me because, I got more experience in that way, going out from my comfort zone and practicing in the field, I was gaining more experience.
When I became older, I wanted to study IT and get A+ certificate, so I could find a job in IT field, but I had financial problems, so I didn't.
It didn't stop me from doing what I did because, I enjoyed what i did, and I am still learning further. I have the experience but I dont have the certificate.
I would say, it is my hobby, the thing I like to do when i have a free time.
I am not saying, that I am an IT professional. I am saying that I have lots of experience in this field.
I know about computers, i know how to repair them, how to tune them up. i know about hardware, software and security.
Well, that's it, just a littlebit about my self. Now the reason why I am making this blog.
The main reason is, that I like doing new stuff. I never had my blog before, so I just decided to experiment and see how things go.
The idea of this blog is to write down my own experience. If I will fall into coma and wake up without memory.
Just kidding, but actually yeah, It could be a good reason lol, you never know haha!
To be honest, I am just doing it for my self, I dont really know why, but I want to do it, like I said before, I like to try new stuff that I have never done before.
Also I would like to share my experience with you, if you want to learn about computers. I can help you, so you dont have to go trough all the struggles and surfing on the web 24/7 to learn everything like I used to do. It was pain in the butt seriously.
